The BriteSmile Method

Sure there are a few options like a whitening toothpaste or tray system, but most options are not as fast, easy, convenient and effective as BriteSmile. As the chart indicates, BriteSmile gives you a faster, more convenient experience and a better result than other options.

There are a lot of imitators on the market who claim they work as well as BriteSmile. Their treatment is also based on a gel, which contains hydrogen peroxide activated by a light. So for you as a customer it looks all the same. But there are some major differences. At the moment there are four methods, which are BriteSmile (American), Remedent (Belgium/American), Luma Arch (German), and Rembrandt (American). The differences are in the concentration of the hydrogen peroxide and the used light.

Before we started in August 2003 we did extensive research into the available methods in the bleching market. We experienced some huge differences. Often (in 40% of the cases) we had hardly any results. Furthermore the results were not consistent. Therefore we chose for the BriteSmile method. The equipment is especially designed for teeth bleaching. The BriteSmile light system is patented and available exclusively at BriteSmile whitening spas and through the Associated Dental Center Network. The other methods use the normal UV light dentists use to set veneers.  
Also, the gel used for the BriteSmile method contains a significant lower percentage hydrogen peroxide (15%) compared to the other methods (30-35%). As a result, our cost price is 4 to 5 times higher.
